Over 75,000 LGBT youth endure bullying every year. Of those bullied, 45% suffer from depression and more than 21,000 will commit suicide. Jak, a gay teenager, was homeless for four months after his family rejected him for being gay. A hungry outcast, Jak contemplated suicide. But Jak's school and Stonewall’s outreach program supported him. They fed him, gave him shoes, and helped him find a job. Most vital, their support helped Jak learn to be comfortable with himself Jak has since found a home and employment, and he feels more himself than ever.
